    A GJFL milestone. Troy Polamalu, who was drafted by the original team NY Disease now named the Miami Thugs, will retire as a Thug. Polamalu has spent his entire GJFL career with the franchise. The owner of the Miami Thigs, MiamiGM, has announced that Polamalu's jersey will be retired after this season.

    The Thugs have rocketed out of the gate to an impressive 7-1 record. They are sitting on top of the newly created Barry Sanders division by squeaking out a road win against the division rival Carol Convicts.     The Thugs were busy this offseason making trades, signing free agents and drafting rookies. The Thugs look to build upon their impressive Conference Championship run in 2012.
