Baseball Hall Of Fame (Thoughts on the lack of a 2013 class)

I am really curious as to how the HOF will handle the PED era of players? There has never been a link to either Biggio or Piazza...both of whom, in my opinion, are 1st ballot HOFers. Is just playing in this era going to be considered guilty by association?

Kurt Schilling was on ESPN yesterday afternoon and he thinks that part of the reason some will be hurt is because collectively the players didn't do enough about addressing the problem earlier.

I cant really say im surprised. I mean maybe a little, I guess I figured at least one would get in. If they had spoke up from the jump it would prob be diff. But honestly I think all will be there eventually.

I don't think it should be the Baseball Writers that vote. Should come down to current members of the HOF and/or the player reps for each team.

I really thought Biggio would get in on the 1st ballot...over 3000 hits and never linked to PED's. Piazza...I don't remember if his name ever came up or not? But as the best offensive Catcher ever, he should be in also.
